JT and the Microwave

JT at Red Hot and Blue BBQ

JT recently went to a "Red Hot and Blue" BBQ resturant, at which time we found out that he likes baby back ribs and fried okra. JT does not like Cajun hush puppies...

New Years Resolutions

I, being the responsible adult that I am have made two new years resolutions this year: skateboard everyday for the next 365 days and take more pictures/videos of the little guy.

Areti and I have both realized that we have missed some golden opportunities to take photos of the little guy, like his second Christmas, his 1st birthday party (which was ironically 5 months late) or his cousins Iliana's latest visit. We even missed taking a video of JTs first complete sentence (for the record it was "The ball is stuck"). To aid taking photographic evidence of the kid we have purchased yet another digital camera. This brings the family total to three, meaning that even JT can get into the mix and take some pictures himself. It's about time he started carrying some of the load instead of just making them.

Everything is stuck these days. The ball is stuck. I no longer want to be in the highchair so I am stuck. I can't reach the keys on the table, hence they are stuck. Here is JTs latest lists of INs and OUTs for the new year:

2008 OUT:

Saying "down".
Quietly pooping.
Reading "Brown Bear, Brown Bear".

2009 IN:

Saying "stuck".
Yelling "Doo Doo!" repeatedly until someone changes you.
Throwing "Brown bear, Brown Bear."
